Alice Magelssen-Green serves as Associate Director of Watershed Lit, supporting the Alan Cheuse International Writer’s Center’s fundraising, marketing, and collaboration with the other members of Watershed Lit: Center for Literary Engagement and Publishing Practice. Alice comes to the position with over a decade of experience in arts administration and fundraising. She previously worked at George Mason University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, where she served as an Assistant Director of Development, fundraising for the Schools of Theater, Music, and Dance. Prior to joining the advancement team at Mason, Alice worked at Theater J at the Edlavitch D.C. Jewish Community Center as a Development Manager and as a Development Assistant at Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (C.A.P.E.). She holds a M.A. in Arts Management from George Mason University and a B.A. in English with Honors from the University of Chicago.
