An evening with Richard Ford to celebrate the Cheuse International Writing Center

On Thursday, May 4, The Alan Cheuse International Writers Center at George Mason University will present an evening with acclaimed American novelist Richard Ford. One of the preeminent writers working in the United States, Ford will be in conversation with Maureen Corrigan of NPR's "Fresh Air" about his new memoir Between Them

Join us for a discussion on Ford's new book, Between Them: Remembering My Parents, a memoir in two parts about the lives of his late parents—a stirring meditation on memory, connection, and love, and asking how we can better understand ourselves by knowing the ones who made us.

The conversation will take place at 7:30 in Dewberry Hall North on the George Mason Fairfax campus and is open to the public. Registration is recommended.
